X-Ventures Beta has invested in Balaton Dock Kft. to develop two new marinas on Lake Balaton, responding to growing demand for boating facilities in the region.

Target Information

The Balaton Dock Kft. has been awarded a significant investment by the Jeremie 2 fund, enhancing the fund's active investment portfolio to four projects. Balaton Dock Kft. will operate two newly constructed marinas located in Alsóörs and Balatonfenyves, scheduled to open in 2016. These marinas will collectively create a total of 590 docking spaces.

The planned marinas will provide year-round berthing for boats, an uncommon feature in the region. This will be made possible with a water circulation system, which ensures an ice-free area for the vessels even during winter months when the lake is frozen. Additionally, the marinas will prioritize cleanliness, equipped with high-performance water exchange systems, guaranteeing optimal water quality. A unique hydraulic trolley, not currently in use on Lake Balaton, will be employed for boat handling.
