Founded in 2023 by the Hauts-de-France Region, Groupe IRD, and AFM, Side Invest aims to nurture and enhance the entertainment industry across cultural, media, and sports sectors in the Hauts-de-France region. Following its initial investment in September 2023 to support RC Lens, the company has announced its second initiative, partnering with Grégoire Furrer Productions, a global leader in Francophone humor and producer of the renowned Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland, alongside the emerging festival Lillarious in Hauts-de-France.
Side Invest is set to invest 1.2 million euros into the establishment of JokeNation, the group that will manage all live and digital productions for GF Productions, with its headquarters located in Lille.
