The Voskod Fund has invested 1 billion rubles in New Diamond Technology to enhance the production of high-performance diamond plates for the semiconductor industry.
Target Company Overview
The Voskod Fund, anchored by the Interros Group, has invested 1 billion rubles in New Diamond Technology (NDT), a manufacturer of diamond plates used as substrates in electronics to significantly enhance the efficiency of modern semiconductors. NDT is focused on developing an integrated technology for the industrial production of large-diameter diamond plates with superior characteristics for commercially sought-after applications.
NDT specializes in the cultivation of large and extra-large diamonds (over 100 carats) and the production of diamond plates ranging from 3 mm to 15 mm. These plates possess superior physical-chemical, electronic, and optical properties compared to natural diamonds, as well as consistent quality necessary for electronic and quantum functional components manufacturing. The company employs two primary diamond-growing technologies: the High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) method, which imitates natural conditions to produce diamonds, and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) for creating substrates with specific properties.
