Multiverse Computing has secured a Series A investment from CDP Venture Capital to enhance its presence in Italy and develop innovative quantum AI solutions.

Multiverse Computing, a global leader in quantum and quantum-inspired artificial intelligence software solutions, announced an investment from CDP Venture Capital Sgr, the largest Italian venture capital investor, as part of its Series A funding round. The investment was made through two segments of the Corporate Partners I fund, specifically ServiceTech and Energytech. This corporate venture capital fund includes participation from prominent Italian companies such as Baker Hughes, BNL BNP Paribas, Edison, GPI Spa, Italgas, Snam, and Terna Forward.
The new funding will be utilized to enhance Multiverse Computing's market presence in Italy, which includes expanding its Milan office, establishing new public and private partnerships, and attracting new talent. Additionally, the company aims to strengthen its existing partnerships, notable among them a project with EuroHPC and the supercomputer Leonardo, situated at the CINECA data center in Bologna, which involves collaboration with 103 public entities.
