The CDE Blangis Group sold its subsidiaries Norail SAS and Interges SAS to Briconord, aimed at enhancing synergies and expanding market presence in the hardware sector.
Target Information
The CDE Blangis Group, founded and led by Charles Blangis, has successfully divested its subsidiaries, Norail SAS and Interges SAS, to Briconord, an entity backed by Société Générale Capital Partenaires, Siparex, and Initiative & Finance. Norail SAS, established in 1962, boasts over 13,000 product references, distributing four main product categories: fasteners, building hardware, and cord and chain products. The company markets its products under its own brands, Norail and Starblock, as well as various private label brands.
Interges SAS, another subsidiary of the CDE Blangis Group, brings together two significant players in the market: Hervieu and Guitel. Hervieu, founded in 1860 and acquired by the CDE Blangis Group in 2017, is a leading French manufacturer of industrial and semi-industrial heavy-duty wheels. Guitel, established in 1918 and part of the CDE Blangis Group since 2011, specializes in manufacturing and distributing wheels, handling wheels, and gate accessories.
