Viken Fiber AS has finalized agreements with Instrumenttjenesten AS (ITAS) and its subsidiary DKnett AS to acquire their broadband operations in Ås and Frogn. As one of Norway's largest fiber companies, Viken Fiber delivers Altibox services to nearly 190,000 customers across approximately 60 municipalities in Eastern Norway.
Since 2018, ITAS and DKnett have been planning to sell their broadband business, culminating in a signed agreement with Viken Fiber last week. Jan Aksel Næss, the CEO of ITAS, expressed confidence that their 1,900 broadband customers across both companies will be well taken care of by Viken Fiber.
