Target Information

Since 2013, TIMAB Magnesium has held a 50% ownership stake in Magnesium do Brasil and has now expanded its investment by acquiring 100% of the company. Magnesium do Brasil is a vertically integrated company recognized for its expertise in the extraction and processing of magnesia for agricultural and refractory applications. The company currently employs 281 people and operates out of a mine and the Jucas facility located in the state of Ceará, with its headquarters situated in Fortaleza.

The complete acquisition of Magnesium do Brasil, along with TIMAB's existing operation in Spain (Magnesitas Navarras), enhances direct access to raw materials. This strategic move enables TIMAB Magnesium to fully control the entire product value chain, from the extraction of selectively sourced ore to the marketing of specialized magnesium-based solutions.
