This acquisition, valued at up to R$ 539 million, encompasses an immediate payment of R$ 264 million, along with a potential contingent payment of up to R$ 275 million, contingent upon the fulfillment of specific conditions. Cecrisa currently holds a net debt of R$ 442 million.
The transaction, which awaits approval from CADE according to legal regulations, will not result in significant alterations to Duratex's existing capital structure or its debt profile. Following the acquisition, Duratex aims to expand its product portfolio, which already includes notable brands such as Durafloor, Deca, Hydra, Duratex, and Ceusa.
