Dürr Group has sold its Danish subsidiary Agramkow Fluid Systems A/S to Solix Group AB to concentrate on its core operations, with Agramkow expected to benefit from focused growth opportunities in the non-automotive filling technology sector.
Target Company Overview
The Dürr Group has announced the sale of its Danish subsidiary, Agramkow Fluid Systems A/S, to Swedish investment firm Solix Group AB. Agramkow, based in Sønderborg, Denmark, is a leading provider of filling technology for non-automotive applications, particularly in systems for refrigerants in refrigerators, air-conditioning units, and heat pumps. In the fiscal year 2023, Agramkow generated sales of approximately €45 million and holds an enterprise value of €47 million. Agramkow has been part of the Dürr Group since 2011 but has increasingly been seen as a non-core asset.
Despite its success, with an EBIT margin exceeding the Group average of 6.1% and a workforce of around 160 employees, Agramkow has limited synergies with Dürr’s other divisions. Consequently, Dürr AG’s Board of Management believes Agramkow's growth potential could be better realized outside of its existing corporate structure, as the company is no longer viewed as strategically essential to the broader operational focus of Dürr.
