Smilde boasts seven production facilities, an innovation center, and a sales presence that extends across the Netherlands, Belgium, France, England, Germany, and West Africa.
Smilde specializes in creating and manufacturing a diverse range of food solutions, including margarines, oils, fats, salads, sauces, and bakery products. The company offers over 1,800 products, serving both its own brand and private label needs, reaching consumers in more than 47 countries. Bakery De Maro, founded in 1937 and located in Berkel-Enschot, is also a family-run business that has developed into an industrial bakery supplying retailers, wholesalers, and food service companies.
