Established in 2000 by Simon King and Alastair Donnelly, the company commenced operations under the name InsideJapan, specializing in inbound travel to Japan. Driven by their passion for Japanese culture, acquired during their three-year residency in the country, the founders recognized a gap in the market for authentic travel experiences that truly reflect everyday life in Japan.
