Meridia is pleased to announce the acquisition of two newly built hotels in Madrid, collectively offering 386 keys. The properties involved in this transaction are the Hotel Madrid Centro Atocha and the Hotel Ibis Budget Madrid Aeropuerto. Both hotels are strategically situated in high-demand locales and will operate under management agreements with Continuum Hospitality Group, while adhering to rigorous ESG standards.
The Atocha hotel features 230 well-appointed rooms and 102 parking spaces, located within walking distance of Madrid’s principal train station, corporate centers, and cultural attractions. In contrast, the Barajas property comprises 156 rooms and 53 parking spaces, ideally located near the airport, the IFEM convention center, and Madrid’s logistics corridor. Each hotel is newly constructed and has already shown strong operational performance, with potential for further value creation as they enhance and consolidate their operations.
