This acquisition involves the purchase of 100% of the company’s share capital and is aligned with ITC's strategy to enhance its portfolio within the organic food sector. 24 Mantra Organic has gained recognition as a pioneer in the organic foods market, offering over 100 different organic products including grocery staples, spices, condiments, and beverages, both in domestic and international markets.
The brand is characterized by its fully integrated 'Farm to Fork' traceability approach, which not only ensures quality but also supports sustainable livelihoods for approximately 27,500 farmers. These farmers cultivate organic produce across 1.4 lakh acres of certified organic land in ten states throughout India, thereby establishing a strong network that is critical to the company's competitive advantage.
