Grupo Hotusa secured loans from COFIDES to acquire Orsa SRL and expand its hotel operations in Italy, strengthening its international presence.

Grupo Hotusa is a leading hotel chain in Spain and ranks ninth in Europe by the number of establishments. Recently, the company has secured loans from COFIDES amounting to €3.6 million and €11.8 million for the acquisition of Orsa SRL, the owner and operator of the Crisol Europa Palermo hotel, as well as the Eurostars Centrale Palace hotel that Grupo Hotusa has operated since 2015.
The total investment for these projects will reach €5.2 million and €16.9 million, respectively. This initiative marks a significant move to strengthen Grupo Hotusa's presence in the Italian market, where the company has been active since 1999 and currently operates 12 establishments under its Eurostars and Exe brands in major cities including Rome, Florence, Naples, and Venice.
