Grupo Arcor has acquired the iconic Peruvian brand Sayon, investing over USD 5 million to enhance its confectionery portfolio and production capabilities in Peru.

Grupo Arcor, a leading multinational company in the mass consumption food sector, has reinforced its presence in Peru by acquiring the local confectionery and chocolate division of the renowned brand Sayon. This strategic move, completed in December 2024, underscores Arcor's long-term commitment to the Peruvian market. The investment of over USD 5 million not only boosts local production but also positions the company for new regional export opportunities. Sayon, with a rich history spanning over 90 years, holds a significant place in Peruvian culture and now joins Arcor's portfolio of iconic brands including Bon o Bon, Mogul, Sapito, Topline, and Golpe.
