Griffin Gaming Partners has acquired indie publisher Playdigious from Fragbite for €10.5 million, enhancing its portfolio in the mobile gaming sector while allowing Fragbite to focus on new strategic initiatives.

Griffin Gaming Partners, a venture capital firm focused on the video game industry, has successfully completed the acquisition of indie publisher Playdigious from the Swedish company Fragbite. The deal was valued at €10.5 million (approximately $12.2 million). Playdigious is renowned for its expertise in developing mobile ports of popular games, having successfully transitioned titles like 'Chants of Sennaar' and 'Loop Hero' to the smartphone platform. In addition to its porting activities, Playdigious operates a publishing label, Playdigious Originals, which currently features four titles in its portfolio.
As part of this transaction, Fragbite will retain 90 percent of the net revenue generated from the existing PC catalog of Playdigious Originals. Griffin Gaming Partners acquired all shares in Playdigious, along with the company's assets and game publishing rights, through a cash transaction.
