Target Information

The CERTINA Group has successfully acquired FEV test systems from the FEV Group as of June 4th, 2024. Following this acquisition, FEV test systems will operate independently under the name STS (Software & Testing Solutions) and will be integrated into the CERTINA Group's expansive portfolio. This restructuring will be implemented immediately, placing Allen Arnoldy as the CEO of STS, supported by Dr. Stefan Brungs, Managing Partner of Automotive at the CERTINA Group.

FEV test systems specializes in delivering unique and tailored software and testing solutions for the mobility sector. Their offerings include the development of test bench systems specifically designed to meet the needs of vehicle propulsion, contributing towards carbon-free mobility initiatives. With a global workforce of approximately 400 employees across five locations, FEV test systems generated sales exceeding 100 million euros in 2023. This divestiture is part of the FEV Group's strategy to realign its business focus, while ensuring that jobs within STS will be retained. The partnership between FEV and STS will continue, fostering commercial and technical collaboration aimed at innovating solutions for e-mobility and zero carbon emissions.
