Ahlsell AB, through its subsidiaries Ahlsell Sverige AB, Ahlsell Oy, and Ahlsell Norge AS, has entered into an agreement to acquire Skydda, a specialized distributor of personal protective equipment (PPE) operating in Sweden, Norway, and Finland. This acquisition will enhance Ahlsell's offering to the retail segment, a crucial area of their business strategy.

Skydda, which is expected to generate approximately 550 million SEK in total revenue across the three countries, currently employs 56 staff members. This acquisition allows Ahlsell to broaden its reach within the retail sector, where it already operates through its brands Gelia and Bekken & Strøm, and leverages existing synergies.
