TVS Motor Company has announced an investment of £100 million in Norton Motorcycles, one of Britain’s most iconic brands in the sporting motorcycle industry. Norton, which was acquired by TVS in April 2020, has recently inaugurated a new manufacturing facility located in Solihull, West Midlands. This facility aims to produce British motorcycles using a blend of traditional hand-crafted techniques and modern machinery, ensuring high quality and craftsmanship.
Under the leadership of Robert Hentschel, Norton aims to enhance its production capabilities and product range significantly. The investment from TVS will contribute to the imminent launch of re-engineered models, including the V4 SV and 961 Commando, as well as development in areas such as electrification and sustainability to further transform the brand into a competitive luxury motorcycle manufacturer.
