Pernod Ricard has divested its Mumm sparkling wine activities in the U.S. to Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits, enhancing Trinchero's premium portfolio while allowing Pernod to focus on its international brands.
Information on the Target
Pernod Ricard and Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits have entered into a definitive agreement to transfer the sparkling wine activities in the United States, including the Mumm Sparkling California, Mumm Napa, and DVX brands. Mumm sparkling wines are recognized leaders within the North American market and serve as a strategic enhancement to Trinchero’s existing portfolio. Sequentially, Trinchero will gain exclusive rights to manufacture and produce Mumm sparkling wines (excluding champagne) in the United States and will oversee marketing and distribution across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and selected Caribbean regions.
This transaction also includes the acquisition of Mumm Napa's destination winery and sparkling wine production facilities located in Rutherford, Napa Valley. This strategic move allows Trinchero to further expand its premium offerings and strengthen its position as one of the top wine suppliers in the U.S.
