Pernod Ricard and Trinchero Family Wine and Spirits have entered into a definitive agreement to transfer the sparkling wines activities in the United States, specifically encompassing Mumm Sparkling California, Mumm Napa, and DVX. Mumm sparkling wines are recognized as category leaders in North America, making this acquisition a strategic enhancement to Trinchero's existing portfolio. Following the completion of this transaction, Trinchero will gain exclusive rights to manufacture and produce Mumm sparkling wines (excluding champagne) within the United States, as well as to market and distribute these products across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and select Caribbean markets.

This transaction will also see Trinchero assume ownership of the Mumm Napa destination winery and its sparkling wine production facilities located in Rutherford, Napa Valley. The deal does not include any assets related to the G.H. Mumm Champagne brand or other international Mumm sparkling wine activities, allowing Pernod Ricard to concentrate its resources on its premium international spirits and champagne brands in line with its premiumisation strategy.
