Sweco has recently signed an agreement to acquire Sipti Consulting, a prominent firm specializing in geotechnical and environmental design and consulting. This acquisition will enhance Sweco's operations by integrating approximately 50 highly skilled professionals, thereby significantly bolstering its capabilities in geotechnical, rock, and environmental engineering.
Based in Finland, Sipti Consulting operates five offices and generated net sales of EUR 6.7 million in the financial year ending July 2024. The consolidation of Sipti into Sweco is set to take effect from January 2025.
