Information on the target
Suire-Sogeas, a brokerage group specializing in personal insurance, has announced the acquisition of 100% of the capital of EMG Courtage, a firm focused on health and collective welfare insurance based in La Canourgue, Lozère. The shares are being transferred by Frédéric Galtier, the founder and co-manager of the firm. This marks the first external growth operation conducted since Meanings Capital Partners entered the capital of the group in November 2025.
The acquisition comes six months after a capital reorganization of the group, which saw Suire Vie & Patrimoine merge with the Normandy-based firm Sogeas, founded in 2005, through a secondary leveraged buyout led by Meanings Capital Partners. The management trio, consisting of Thibault Suire, president, and Diego de La Buharaye and Alexandre Pimont, general directors, reinvested alongside the fund. Capital Croissance, which has been part of the capital since 2021, also reinvested.
