Southbay has made a significant investment in a prime logistics project located in Helsingborg, Sweden, which is strategically positioned near the port. This significant endeavor, with a total development value exceeding SEK 1 billion, is classified as a brownfield development, encompassing roughly 65,000 square meters of modern logistics space that will be delivered in various phases.
The logistics park is situated on the Rausgård 22 property, a unique site that is within walking distance of the city center. As part of this investment, Southbay has secured a 15-year lease with John Bean Technology Marel (JBT), which plans to relocate to the new facility in 2027, occupying 22,000 square meters for their production, warehousing, and operational needs, including headquarters.
