Sopragglo has strategically acquired CAM and BETOMAB to enhance its market position and operational capabilities in the prefabricated concrete sector in northern France.
Information on the Target
Sopragglo, a French independent manufacturer of prefabricated concrete products, has strategically acquired two significant companies: CAM in July 2014 and BETOMAB in September 2014. With a solid presence in northern France, Sopragglo operates five production sites, increasing its total output to 250,000 tonnes. The firm specializes in providing innovative solutions tailored for the construction sector, continuously expanding its product range and addressing eco-construction challenges through initiatives such as the recent launch of the energy-efficient Easytherm block.
The acquisition of CAM, based in Beauvais, was aimed at increasing Sopragglo’s revenue share from specialty products and enhancing its geographic coverage in northern France. Similarly, BETOMAB, located near Abbeville and producing 50,000 tonnes of pressed and molded products, aligns with Sopragglo's goal to bolster its operational structure and market engagement.
