The Saica Group has successfully expanded its recovery network in Spain by acquiring a segment of FCC Ámbito's business. This acquisition primarily focuses on the recovery of paper and corrugated board and will significantly enhance Saica's operational footprint across various regions in Spain, particularly in Madrid, as well as northern and western parts of the country. The acquired business operates seven plants employing over 150 workers and has an annual turnover of €33 million.
Saica Natur, the waste management and environmental services division of the Saica Group, executed this transaction. The acquisition includes facilities located in Madrid, Cáceres, Valladolid, Asturias, Vizcaya, León, and Toledo, which allows Saica to broaden its scope of value-added services and environmental initiatives.
