Riello Investimenti SGR has led an €8.64 million Series A investment in Finapp to expand its innovative soil and snow moisture measurement technology.
Target Information
Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from the Department of Applied Nuclear Physics at the University of Padua, Finapp has developed a patented proprietary technology based on Cosmic Ray Neutron Sensing (CRNS). This technology enables real-time measurement of soil and snow moisture by detecting neutrons generated from cosmic rays.
The investment from Riello Investimenti SGR will support Finapp in its efforts to enhance its operations and expand its market presence internationally.
