Mir (Medical International Research), founded in 1993 in Rome, is a leading global player in the field of spirometry, providing medical devices and software for the diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory diseases. The company boasts a distribution network that spans over 100 countries, achieving a revenue of 22 million euros in 2024. With continuous growth anticipated, Mir plans to launch a new product, the Maximal Inspiratory Pressure (Mip) system, in 2025.
The recent acquisition sees Mir being fully acquired by the Silver Economy Fund, part of Quadrivio Group’s private equity activities.
