TotalEnergies has successfully concluded an agreement to divest an indirect interest of 9.998% in block SK408, located in Malaysia, to PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP). Following this transaction, TotalEnergies will maintain a majority interest of 30.002% in the same block. This partnership in SK408 signifies a significant milestone for TotalEnergies in Malaysia, particularly after its recent acquisitions, including the acquisition of SapuraOMV in December 2024 and the procurement of interests in several blocks from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd in June 2025.
