This investment represents POD Capital's third investment following Smart Energy Co., Ltd. and Blanc Co., Ltd. It also marks the second instance of POD Capital supporting an MBO of a company with which it has established a relationship, following its previous engagement with Smart Energy. The relationship between POD Capital's Co-Managing Partners, Yuji Matsumoto and Jun Kyogoku, dates back approximately ten years when they spearheaded the establishment of Japan Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "JRE") to launch renewable energy generation projects.
