Lords Group Trading PLC has successfully acquired CMO Group Ltd for approximately GBP 1.8 million. This acquisition includes the transfer of all trade and assets of CMO, a London-based e-commerce platform specializing in construction products, following a pre-pack administration. CMO reported a revenue of GBP 52 million in its fiscal year 2024. The company, originally known as Construction Materials Online, has made significant strides in disrupting the construction retail sector through its innovative online model.

Recently, shareholders of CMO voted in favor of delisting from AIM to re-register as a private entity, resulting in the cancellation of its shares on London’s junior market. As part of the acquisition, around 120 employees from CMO will join Lords Group, signaling a strategic alignment of resources and capabilities.
