The British Business Bank, through the Investment Fund for Wales, has made its first investment in mid Wales, allocating £1 million to SudoCyber, a gamified cybersecurity training platform founded by military veterans, to support its growth and expansion ambitions.
Details on the Target
SudoCyber is a gamified online cybersecurity learning platform based in Brecon, Wales. Founded three years ago by veterans Jason Davies, Marc Del-Valle, and John Davies, the company has rapidly grown by initially focusing on training military personnel. It has since expanded its services to include training for Cyber Crime Police Officers across the UK.
The company has recently secured a three-year contract to train Cyber Crime Police Officers across all UK police forces and established itself as a provider for several universities in Wales, such as Wrexham University, University of South Wales, and Cardiff University. This inaugural investment round allows SudoCyber’s 11-member team to recruit talent, enhance their service offerings, and pursue international expansion.
