Everwood Capital has acquired four advanced-stage photovoltaic projects in Italy, totaling 56 MW, further solidifying its footprint in the European renewable energy market.
Information on the Target
Everwood Capital has successfully acquired a portfolio of four photovoltaic projects in Italy, totaling 56 MW in capacity. These projects are located in Montescaglioso, a municipality in the Basilicata region in Southern Italy, and are in an advanced stage of development. Earlier this year, the necessary administrative authorizations for the projects were secured, marking a significant milestone for energy projects in Italy. With construction expected to commence by the end of 2026, the plants are projected to become operational in 2027.
Once completed, these solar installations are anticipated to generate over 94,800 MWh of electricity per year, sufficient to power nearly 34,000 homes. Furthermore, the clean energy produced is expected to prevent the emission of approximately 26,270 tons of CO2 annually, equivalent to the planting of over 262,500 trees.
