Energiefonds Overijssel invests €14.9 million in the Ronde Blesse solar park in the Netherlands, promoting renewable energy and sustainability.
Target Information
The Ronde Blesse solar park is a new renewable energy project being developed near Willemsoord, in collaboration with Energie Coöperatie Willemsoord and the municipality of Steenwijkerland. The solar park will cover a total area of approximately 32 hectares, with around 24 hectares designated for a solar array capable of producing 30 MW of energy. The remaining 8 hectares will be managed by the cooperative, which plans to establish a food forest and other natural plantings on this land. Construction of the cable has commenced, and the overall development of the solar park is scheduled to take place in phases throughout 2024, with an expected completion date set for May or June of 2024.
