Family office Eximium has divested its non-strategic stake in HUWER Group, a leading French manufacturer of sanitation trucks, to Turkish company EFEMMAK amidst ongoing operational challenges.
Target Information
HUWER Group, a reputable player in the design, manufacturing, and marketing of hydrocureur trucks as well as ADR and ATEX systems, has been in operation for over 50 years. This well-established company has strengthened its market presence since 2017 by acquiring the operations of HYDROVIDE and HYDROVIDEO, along with their after-sales service network. As a result, HUWER has emerged as the leading French company in the sanitation truck sector and pipeline inspection systems.
With an extensive sales network, HUWER markets its products in over 50 countries. The company boasts several production sites and a network of 12 after-sales service agencies, achieving a turnover of approximately €27 million in 2024 while employing more than 250 personnel. However, in recent years, HUWER has engaged in various strategic repositioning initiatives and industrial reorganizations, implemented by different management teams. The firm has historically faced structural profitability challenges and has relied on financial support from its shareholder, family office Eximium, for an extended period.
