Target Information

On January 13, 2026, COFIDES partnered with Grupo Negratín for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Alma 2 photovoltaic plant in Colombia, which commenced operations in November 2025. This marks the first solar power facility owned by Negratín, establishing its position as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) in the region.

The photovoltaic plant has a capacity of 13.67 MWp and will supply energy through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) set for a duration of 12 years. The project was financed by FIEX and COFIDES’s own resources, structured under a project finance model. Grupo Negratín played a crucial role in the project as it was responsible for promotion, construction, and operation, showcasing its extensive knowledge in renewable energy and solid track record in the Colombian energy market.
