Catella Investment Management GmbH (CIM), based in Berlin, has completed the acquisition of two residential development projects located in the Liesel Quartier, Göttingen. This acquisition, undertaken for an individual client, involves the purchase of buildings H40 and H50, which comprise a total of 118 privately financed apartments. The apartments, ranging in size from 41 to 86 square meters, provide a total rental area of 7,810 square meters. The development is part of a larger project on the former Gothaer Versicherung site that encompasses around 570 apartments across several phases, covering approximately 37,000 square meters.

Features of the new buildings include a daycare center within building H40, high-quality fixtures such as parquet flooring and underfloor heating, as well as a combination of loggias and terraces. The project aims to cater to diverse social needs by including around 40% of the apartments at reduced rental rates or rent-controlled prices, with construction expected to commence in December 2025 and conclude in 2027.
