Deal summary

Information on the target

Swarotex-seiba, a renowned specialist in technical textiles, continues its operations at its Murg location, producing high-quality products such as airbag fabrics. The company, which has a rich history dating back to the 19th century when it began as a silk weaving business, is now part of the Bodenbender Group. Located near the Swiss border in the Waldshut district, Swarotex-seiba focuses on the development and production of specialized textiles, including sun protection fabrics, boat covers, channel rehabilitation hoses, heat and shrapnel protection textiles, parachute fabrics, and materials for the fishing industry.

Following a challenging capital increase that led to financial difficulties, Swarotex-seiba underwent a restructuring process guided by BSK Berbuer Speier Kuhn, a law firm specializing in corporate restructuring.
