Tieto has agreed to sell Bekk Consulting AS to private equity firm Axcel for NOK 1,700 million, enabling Bekk to operate independently and focus on growth in the Norwegian consulting market.
Target Information
Tieto (now branded as Tieto) has reached an agreement to divest Bekk Consulting AS (Bekk) to the private equity firm Axcel. The enterprise value for this transaction is estimated at NOK 1,700 million (approximately EUR 140 million), excluding cash and debt, and is subject to standard closing adjustments. The completion of this divestment is anticipated in the first quarter of 2026. In accordance with Tieto's updated capital allocation policy, the proceeds from this transaction will be utilized for debt reduction and for returning capital to shareholders.
Originally acquired by ErgoGroup in 2007, Bekk, which employs around 600 people, has operated independently under its own brand within Tieto Tech Consulting (previously Tietoevry Create). Bekk has established itself as a prominent player in the technology and management consulting sectors in Norway. As of the third quarter of 2025, Bekk reported annual revenues of NOK 1,056 million with an operating profit (EBIT) of NOK 150 million.
