Inter and Milan jointly acquired the San Siro Stadium for €197 million, transitioning it from public to private ownership and setting the stage for substantial urban development and economic growth in Milan.
Information on the Target
The iconic San Siro Stadium, officially known as Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, has been a significant landmark in Milan, Italy, since its inauguration in 1926. On November 23, 2025, a historic derby between the football clubs Inter and Milan was held, marking the first match at the stadium owned jointly by the two teams. Prior to this acquisition, the stadium was indirectly owned by the City of Milan.
As confirmed by Studio Gazzani, the ownership of San Siro transitioned from the municipality to a private holding called Stadio San Siro Spa on November 5, 2025. This new entity is fully controlled by Nsm Holding, a joint venture of Red Stadco Srl and Blueco Srl, owned respectively by AC Milan Spa and FC Internazionale Milano. This strategic acquisition allows both clubs to have a direct stake in the stadium, eliminating the complexities of public ownership.
