Asilla Inc. and NTT East have formed a partnership to combine security camera technology with AI for real-time anomaly detection, addressing labor shortages and social issues in Japan.

Target Information

Asilla Inc., led by CEO and COO Takeshi Onoue, has entered into a basic agreement for a business partnership with East Japan Railway Company (NTT East), under the leadership of President Naoki Shibuya, on January 29, 2025. This collaboration aims to address pressing social issues stemming from labor shortages by integrating wired and wireless networks with video analysis AI. As part of this partnership, NTT East plans to launch the service "Giga Raku Camera Video Analysis Option MIMAMORI AI" on March 31, 2025, utilizing Asilla’s licensing.

To accelerate the objectives of this partnership, NTT Docomo Ventures (NDV), the corporate venture capital arm of the NTT Group headed by President Jun Amano, will invest in Asilla through the NTT Investment Partners Fund No. 4 (NIP4 Fund).
