Yeager Energy has acquired a majority stake in Aardwarmte Vogelaer, a company specializing in the provision of geothermal energy to greenhouse horticulture businesses in the Westland region of the Netherlands. With this acquisition, Yeager aims to enhance the existing partnership established in early 2024 for the development of Aardwarmte Vogelaer's second geothermal project. This initiative is part of a strategic collaboration that combines both companies' expertise to sustainably deliver geothermal energy.
Aardwarmte Vogelaer, founded in 2014, currently serves 18 greenhouse horticulture companies in Honselersdijk, Poeldijk, and Monster through its initial geothermal project, Aardwarmte Vogelaer 1. The acquisition will allow the company to expand its services and significantly increase its customer base, with projections indicating that by 2025, it will serve 34 horticulture companies and 424 residential homes in the Westmade-Noord area of Monster.
