WiseTech Global (ASX: WTC), a prominent developer of logistics execution software and supply chain technology solutions, has announced its intent to acquire the Centre for Customs and Excise Studies (CCES). Established in Canberra, Australia, in 2003, CCES is renowned for providing training, education, and research in the specialized domain of customs and border management. Its courses are accredited by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and aim to uphold professional standards in customs administration.
CCES has a global presence, delivering training and awareness programs across over sixty countries, including regions in Asia, Africa, the Americas, the Pacific, the Caribbean, Europe, and the Middle East. In collaboration with various tertiary institutions, including Charles Sturt University, CCES offers internationally recognized courses such as the Bachelor of Border Management and postgraduate degrees in Customs Administration. Furthermore, in 2025, CCES partnered with Fiji National University to establish the Pacific Centre for Border Management and Security, aimed at providing vocational and higher education programs for border management professionals in the Pacific.
