Vuno, a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 12th of October its decision to acquire shares and equity certificates of Coreline Soft, a company specializing in chest imaging technologies, amounting to 3.4 billion KRW. This strategic acquisition is part of Vuno's broader goal to enhance its portfolio in medical AI, particularly in the field of imaging diagnostics.
As part of this transaction, Vuno is set to sign an asset transfer agreement with Coreline Soft to transfer technologies related to VUNO Med®-LungCT™ (hereafter referred to as LungCT). The majority of the payment for the shares will be funded by the revenues generated from this technology transfer.
