ReSpo.Vision has raised €4.2 million in funding to enhance its AI-driven 3D tracking technology for sports analytics and broadcasting.
Target Information
ReSpo.Vision has successfully secured €4.2 million (£3.55 million) in its latest funding round. The company's innovative technology leverages artificial intelligence to extract 3D tracking data from single camera feeds, including standard TV broadcasts. This approach allows for the detection of over 50 body points per player with centimeter-level accuracy, all certified by the FIFA Quality Programme for Electronic Performance and Tracking Systems. Notably, this solution eliminates the necessity for wearable devices, dedicated on-site hardware, or specialized technical crews, significantly reducing costs associated with sports analytics.
In addition to its primary tracking technology, ReSpo.Vision offers a separate digital twin product. This product utilizes the tracking data to create realistic reenactments of live matches from a first-person perspective. Furthermore, it provides automated visual overlays that include contextual in-game graphics, match statistics, and branded elements, alongside natural language interfaces for enhanced analytics.
