The company has developed an automated system that assists fruit and vegetable producers in monitoring crop conditions and responding to threats such as frost, drought, pests, and diseases. Founded in 2020, AgronetPRO was established by Polish orchardist Kamil Koc along with software technology experts Sander de Vries and Dmitry Kolesnikov. Their goal was to create a real-time monitoring system integrating weather stations and modular field sensors with a proprietary application, ultimately aiding users in preventing damage from extreme weather conditions.

The need for such a solution became evident when Koc experienced significant losses due to local frost destroying a large portion of his harvest. Currently, AgronetPRO’s application utilizes data from sensors operating 24/7 to alert users about incoming frost, drought, or pest threats, and monitors conditions such as ethylene, O2, and CO2 levels in storage facilities. This allows producers to effectively manage large areas of crops, with sensors sending data to mobile devices every two minutes. The startup aims to expand internationally, building on its recent funding of over 1 million PLN to enhance its integrated system and boost sales.
