India Cements Ltd has announced that its subsidiaries, PT Coromandel Minerals Resources in Indonesia and Raasi Minerals Pte Ltd in Singapore, have entered into a share sale and purchase agreement for the divestment of their entire shareholding in PT Adcoal Energindo, Indonesia. The transaction entails a proposed consideration of IDR 10 Billion, approximately equivalent to ₹5.4 Crore.
Upon completion of this deal, PT Adcoal will no longer be a subsidiary of India Cements, and PT Mitra Setia Tanah Bumbu, which holds a 49% stake in PT Adcoal, will also terminate its status as an associate company. Notably, PT Adcoal has been a minor contributor to the overall performance of India Cements, amounting to merely 0.5% of the company's turnover in the financial year 2025.
