Transdev Group, a global leader in public transport and personal mobility, is enhancing its presence in the Dutch regional transport sector through its subsidiary, Transdev Nederland. The company has secured two new transport contracts, which include the establishment of significant urban networks in Utrecht and the Hoeksche Waard-Goeree-Overflakkee (HWGO) areas. These contracts have a collective value exceeding €4 billion throughout their duration.
Transdev has been awarded the responsibility to operate public transport services for a period of up to 13 years, which involves the deployment of a fleet comprising of over 300 zero-emission electric buses and trolley buses, underpinning the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
