Teneo has acquired Clarity Partners and PwC's business restructuring unit in New Zealand to strengthen its international advisory services and drive revenue growth.
Target Information
Teneo has announced the acquisition of two international advisory firms as part of its strategic growth initiative, following a significant investment from LGT Capital Partners. The first acquisition involves Clarity Partners, a boutique M&A and strategy consultancy with a 30-member team operating mainly in the Nordic region. Founded in 2024 by former consultants from Boston Consulting Group and Bain, Clarity Partners specializes in small- and mid-cap mergers and acquisitions, as well as growth strategies. Its current management team, led by managing partner Asbjørn Kastaniegaard, will continue to oversee operations within Teneo's management consulting division.
The second acquisition includes PricewaterhouseCoopers’ business restructuring services division in New Zealand. This deal enables Teneo to establish a presence in multiple New Zealand cities, including Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch, thereby expanding its operational footprint in the Asia-Pacific region. The transaction is projected to close by the end of February, enhancing Teneo's capabilities and service offerings.
