Additionally, Tata Steel has secured the remaining 50% stake in Norsk Stål Tynnplater AS, a strip products service centre situated in Frederikstad, Norway, of which it already owned half. Collectively, these three service centres employ approximately 180 professionals who will now be integrated into Tata Steel's operations.
These service facilities primarily focus on strip products and provide essential services such as cutting-to-length, slitting, and recoiling. They cater to various sectors, including automotive, construction, and electrical supplies, in addition to supporting both heavy and light engineering industries.
